(Presentation and Q&A by Dr Kelvin Bryan Tan & Mr Sutowo Wong)

In 2017, the United Nations projected that by 2050, nearly half (47 per cent) of Singapore’s total population would be aged 65 years and above. While a rapidly aging population is by no means unique to local context, it underscores a real and urgent need for improvement and prudent management of the Health and Healthcare ecosystem of our nation.

This session provides a few actualised examples of how analytics has been harnessed to improve various aspects of Singapore's healthcare system. We show how analytics has been used in improving outcomes by saving lives and reducing readmissions, as well as to ensure future sustainability of our healthcare system.
